What are the responsibilities and job description for the Family Nurse Practitioner position at Morgans Healthcare?
-Primary Care setting, on site with enterprise client
-NP/PA for per diem coverage at busy PCMH seeing ages 2 .
Mon: 8-4p or Fri 8-4p
Sat: 8-1p (2 Saturdays a month)
Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical histories and physical examinations.
- Diagnose and treat a variety of health conditions across all age groups, with a focus on outpatient care.
- Manage patient care plans, including prescribing medications and therapies as appropriate.
- Provide specialized care in areas such as gastroenterology, toddler care, and medical-surgical needs.
- Perform procedures including specimen collection processing, botulinum toxin treatment, and dermal fillers.
- Educate patients and families about health management, preventive care, and treatment options.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in a teaching hospital setting to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Skills
- Strong clinical skills in outpatient settings with the ability to manage diverse patient populations.
- Proficiency in performing medical procedures such as specimen collection processing, botulinum toxin treatment, and dermal fillers.
