We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Construction to lead and oversee all aspects of construction projects from inception to completion. Duties
**You must have on the job experience in Kitchen, Bath, Basement, Framing, Additions. You must have extensive knowledge in all aspects to be able to field questions from field team members.
- Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of large-scale construction projects, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
- Manage and direct multiple construction teams, subcontractors, and vendors to foster collaboration and accountability across all project phases.
- Develop comprehensive project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar construction management software to optimize resource allocation and timeline accuracy.
- Oversee construction estimating processes to accurately forecast costs and prepare detailed budgets for infrastructure projects.
- Utilize tools such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Civil 3D, HeavyBid, and other industry-standard software to monitor project progress, review schematics, blueprints reading, and manage documentation.
- Ensure compliance with all construction regulations, safety standards, and environmental policies throughout project execution.
- Coordinate with project stakeholders to facilitate effective communication, resolve issues promptly, and keep projects on track from start to finish.
- Conduct regular site inspections to verify construction quality, safety compliance, and progress against schematics and blueprints.
- Manage contractual agreements with clients and subcontractors while overseeing project scope changes and contractual obligations.
- Implement cost management strategies to control expenditures without compromising quality or safety standards.
Qualifications
5 years on the job experience in residential design build.
Ability to use project management software, manage time, manage field crew.
You will be responsible for 7-15 projects at once. Projects are high end design build projects.
Pay: $90,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
