The Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst is responsible for monitoring, auditing, and evaluating operational processes and transactions across multiple departments within MWGA. This role ensures compliance with company policies, regulatory standards (including HIPAA), and client-specific requirements. The QA Analyst plays a critical role in identifying process gaps, improving accuracy, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives through data-driven insights and coaching feedback. - Measure accuracy in auditing per MWGA documentation, policy administration, and customer service
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Provide support referencing quality assurance processes and procedures for QA Analysts conducting audits
- Identify root causes of quality issues implement corrective / preventive actions to reduce risk
- Conduct internal audits to ensure adherence to company procedures and state / federal regulations
- Conduct daily audits of transactions across all MWGA departments
- Review documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA, PHI, POA, etc.)
- Evaluate work received via multiple intake channels, including service request tickets, email, fax, and mail
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Department Manager.
- High School Diploma or GED is required; Associates or bachelor's degree is
- Insurance administration or insurance support experience is
- Must have general computer skills and be knowledgeable in MS Outlook, Windows, Excel, and
- Must have basic data entry skills and above average mathematical
- Must be able to learn and be proficient with the software used in the TPA
- Must possess strong time management, organizational, problem solving, and customer service
- Must work well under pressure with multiple priorities and meet deadlines while maintaining a strong attention to detail.
