Compensation: $122,850 – $157,500 per year (based on experience)

Position Overview
• Join a collaborative General Surgery team in a hospital-based setting
• Provide comprehensive perioperative care in both clinic and inpatient environments
• Work alongside surgeons and multidisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centered care
• Participate in surgical service growth within a stable healthcare system

Key Responsibilities
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations in outpatient surgical clinics
• Perform pre-operative and post-operative assessments
• Manage inpatient surgical rounding and consultations
• Order and interpret diagnostic studies, including labs and imaging
• Assist with discharge planning and patient education
• Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and ancillary services
• Participate in call rotation and cross-coverage as part of the surgical team

Qualifications
• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
• Board certified with eligibility for Alabama licensure
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Experience in surgical, acute care, or hospital-based practice preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and procedural skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
