What are the responsibilities and job description for the CDL Driver position at MORGAN STEEL LLC?
- Transport material to customers
- Proper cargo securement (will train)
- Follow ALL DOT regulations
- Maintain all logs, fuel receipts, delivery documentation and all other documents according to Morgan Steel, State and Federal regulations
- Build and maintain customer relationships
- Perform PRE and POST trip inspections of assigned vehicle and report any concerns/problems to transportation manager.
- Obtain shipping bills and necessary signatures. Return completed paperwork to shipping department.
- Develop knowledge of material, sizes, types and package
- Report customer satisfaction and ANY product problems.
- Maintain a clean environment, truck, shop, yard and warehouse.
- 1 year Driving experience
- Class A CDL
- Work Authorization (required)
