Role Description
Work as a member of the Structured Investments & Solutions team within WM’s Investment Solutions group. The team facilitates and executes derivative-based solutions alongside WM Financial Advisors with the goal of providing end clients with strategies to manage risk, hedge, or express a market views.

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $110,000 and $185,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.

Role Description
Work as a member of the Structured Investments & Solutions team within WM’s Investment Solutions group. Primary Responsibilities
- Market derivative solutions to WM Financial Advisors (“FAs”)
- Support deal flow and transaction lifecycle management
- Interface with FAs and clients on bespoke derivative solutions including educational presentations, strategy pricing, execution, and managing related support workflows
- Liaise with team management on data analysis, platform efficiencies and strategic planning
- Develop relationships with FAs, WM Field employees, Investment Solutions colleagues and partners in Legal/Compliance/Risk along with members of the Institutional Equity Division
- Bachelor’s degree in related field (e.g., finance, accounting, math, economics)
- Ability to obtain Series 7 & 63 licenses
- Strong analytical skills
- Dynamic and effective communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to work independently, prioritize work, manage time and meet deadlines
- Willingness and ability to operate well in a collaborative, team-oriented, dynamic sales and trading atmosphere
- Working knowledge of capital markets; experience with derivatives
