The Morgan Stanley at Work marketing team focuses on creating strategies and solutions that help foster client and segment engagement and support servicing teams to win and retain business. This group is broadly responsible for branding, communications, strategic marketing initiatives, and driving growth for the corporate/institutional suite of businesses.

Position Summary

The Assistant Vice President – Morgan Stanley at Work B2B Marketing will be responsible for supporting customer marketing efforts for Public and Private Equity Compensation corporate clients, including those utilizing Morgan Stanley, Shareworks, and Equity Edge Online platforms. This role is directly linked to assisting the Equity Relationship Management (RM) team in achieving their goal of retaining existing clients by consistently delivering value through initiatives that surprise and delight, while also demonstrating an understanding of client needs. The individual in this position will be an integral team member, contributing to strategy development, measurement, and other business needs.

This role will be involved in several key aspects that will support the Morgan Stanley at Work organization including, but not limited to, development, coordination and execution of a global survey program, cross-sell / up-sell campaign development, partnering with key members of the RM organization and others across the business, managing day-to-day operational and administrative needs (legal and compliance reviews, project management tools (e.g. Workfront), updates to key partners, etc.), and serving as the main point of contact for the RM team.

Principal Areas Of Responsibilities

  • Serving as a Client Expert: Coordinate and execute global survey program across B2B and B2C, including annual outreach and reporting coordination with key partners and vendors.
  • Driving Satisfaction and Loyalty: Develop programs that help drive satisfaction and loyalty throughout the client relationship, partnering closely with servicing teams to create marketing assets.
  • Helping to Deepen Relationships: Support multi-channel campaigns that deepen relationships by providing value-add content to clients.
  • Developing Impactful Content: Generate ideas and drive execution on segment marketing content relevant to different stages of the customer journey, including videos (short / long form), social media, articles, webinar content, presentations, monthly agendas templates, and more.
  • Support Data Analysis: Analyze marketing efforts, including tracking performance metrics, identifying trends, making data-driven adjustments, and conducting data analysis based on survey insights to optimize marketing strategies.
  • Recognizing Client Partnerships: Strategize and execute ways to recognize clients throughout the year and during key milestones through gifting, awards, and more.

Skills Required

  • 5 years’ experience with B2B Marketing in Financial Services industry
  • Minimum Education; Bachelor Degree
  • Equity compensation experience and knowledge is a plus
  • Advertising agency experience is a plus
  • Experience in running customer marketing and related multi-channel campaigns
  • Strong written communication skills with a focus on positioning marketing content to clients
  • Comfortable expressing thought provoking points of view that help to drive innovation
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced and evolving environment
  • Ability to tell cohesive and interesting stories internally and externally
  • An eye for quality and a close attention to detail
  • Strong project management skills; ability to handle multiple projects at the same time
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams and make connections between them (technology, legal, compliance, communications, design etc.)

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $90,000 and $130,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
