Material Handler 2nd Shift Greater Boston AreaShift - 1:30PM - 10PMProvide quality customer service to include but not limited to the following:Attention to detailMeet and greet customersReview requisition forms to ensure proper completion (signatures, timestamps, part numbers, description, and quantity)Answer questions regarding the availability of partsAsk appropriate questions to ensure correct parts are researched and providedInform customers when requested parts are availableStock Room Responsibilities:Understanding of warehouse storage plans and warehouse operationsPerform daily cycle counts at a 95% accuracy rate as assignedVerifying materials against receiving, shipping, storage and inventory documents, noting and reporting discrepancies and damageRouting materials to prescribed storage locationsStoring, stacking, or palletizing materials in accordance with prescribed storage methodsManaging and taking inventory of received, shipped and/or stored materials dailyExamine stored materials and report deterioration and damageRemoving material from storage/receipt areas and preparing it for turn-inProcess and/or affix, receipt, shipment, storage, pick/pack, and other paperwork and reports as requiredProvide causative research for misidentified, damaged, non-located material as requiredOperates hand or power trucks and/or forklifts in performing warehousing dutiesParts Pick up:Provide documentation to vendors as required (tax-exempt form, credit references)Review all vendor invoices to ensure accuracy on pricing, parts, and quantitiesData Entry:Generate customer requisitions in the inventory systemEnter vendor receiving documents in the inventory systemReceive, stow and catalog in and outbound inventoryOther Requirements:Conduct inventory research projects as requestedMaintain neat and clean stock room area and perform regular cycle counts of materialAdhere to required proceduresAble to pass a CORI background checkPass a drug screenCompany DescriptionOur staffing agency is dedicated to connecting top-quality workers with companies in need of their skills and expertise.
