We are seeking a Service Technician with a “Whatever It Takes” approach to join our maintenance team! In this full-time role, you will help ensure the physical aspects of our 1,381-unit apartment community at Boardwalk at Westlake Apartments, meet company standards, resident expectations, and applicable compliance requirements.
As The Service Technician, You Will Help To
- Troubleshoot and complete service requests including, but not limited to, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance, carpentry, and general maintenance repairs
- Perform preventative maintenance and support day-to-day property upkeep
- Complete make-readies and assist in maintaining curb appeal and community appearance
- Maintain interior and exterior areas in accordance with company standards, compliance requirements, and applicable laws
- Respond promptly and professionally to maintenance service requests and resident concerns
- Communicate clearly with residents, office staff, and maintenance leadership regarding repairs and updates
- We are looking for a well-rounded maintenance professional with strong hands-on troubleshooting skills across multiple maintenance disciplines.
- HVAC/EPA/CFC certifications are preferred but not required.
- Base Pay: $20.00 to $22.00 per hour
- Up to 50% Rent Discount
- Property Staff Shared Renewal Commissions
- Morgan Essentials: $300 quarterly
- On-Call Appreciation: $15/day for holding the on-call phone

- Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Paid rotating on-call participation required
- Must be available and prepared for emergency events as needed

- Active, valid driver’s license and a personal vehicle
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- One year of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
