You will collaborate closely with colleagues daily to deliver the best local news coverage.Develop compelling, original stories for televised newscasts, our website, and digital platformsShoot and edit video using professional TV news cameras as well as mobile devices and softwareCreate engaging content that resonates with our communityBuild and maintain relationships to gather news and foster community connectionsComplete assignments from the news director with professionalism and urgencyWho You AreBachelor's degree in Journalism or a related fieldSolid editorial judgment with a strong grounding in journalism ethics and libel lawSkilled writer familiar with broadcast and Associated Press style guidelinesThrives under pressure and consistently meets tight deadlinesA team player who communicates openly and collaborates effectivelyPhysically able to lift and carry 15 poundsWhat We OfferAt Apple Valley News Now, you'll join a supportive environment where your contributions are valued.
