Echo Technician - Morgan Medical Center

Morgan Medical Center is seeking a skilled and dedicated Echo/Vascular Technician to join our dynamic Imaging team. This exciting opportunity allows individuals passionate about providing exceptional patient care through diagnostic imaging techniques to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality echocardiograms and vascular studies for patients in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and provide a comfortable, compassionate experience during exams.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care.
• Ensure proper operation, calibration, and maintenance of equipment.
• Document patient information and exam results in the hospital's electronic medical records system.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Echo/Vascular Technician program.
• Certification in Cardiac Ultrasound (RDCS) or Vascular Ultrasound (RVT) preferred.
• Experience in performing echocardiography and vascular diagnostic studies in a clinical or hospital setting.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and ultrasound principles.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to patient-centered care.

Our ER is equipped to deliver life-saving diagnostic and emergency care to stroke patients, as one of only eight hospitals in Georgia designated as a Remote Treatment Stroke Center. Our transitional care/swing bed program provides specialized care to patients recuperating from surgery, stroke, or other acute-care visits before transitioning home or to an extended care facility.

We are a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital located in Madison, GA. Serving Morgan County and the surrounding areas since 1960, we offer a range of services, including emergency care, minor surgery, and critical illness treatment. Our imaging department features 3-D mammography for breast cancer detection.
