Position Overview

We are supporting one of our clients, a leading specialty chemical business, with the search for a Vice President-level leader to lead a global business area while serving as the US business head.

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced executive to take ownership of a strategically important portfolio, driving growth, shaping commercial strategy and building the next phase of development within a global organisation.

The role combines global business leadership, commercial growth and innovation, working closely with teams across the US and international markets.

Location: Houston, Texas (onsite)

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the global business strategy and US market execution for a strategic business area

• Drive profitable growth through commercial strategy, customer development and market expansion

• Build and strengthen innovation pipelines to support future growth opportunities

• Develop strategic partnerships with customers across energy, oil & gas and chemical markets

• Translate market needs into innovative solutions and value-creating opportunities

• Lead, develop and inspire high-performing teams across a global, matrix organization

• Partner closely with commercial, technical, operations and functional stakeholders to deliver business objectives

Candidate Profile:

We are looking for a senior leader with:

• Proven experience leading global businesses with full P&L responsibility

• A strong background within specialty chemicals, advanced materials, energy solutions, oil & gas chemicals or related markets

• Demonstrated success in driving business growth, transformation and commercial excellence

• Experience building innovation-led growth platforms and bringing new solutions to market

• The ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead effectively within a complex international environment
