Responsibilities and Duties
At Morgan Family Medicine, our Front Office Coordinators are responsible for providing personal, kind, and prompt customer service in our never-dull clinic. Attention to detail, problem solving and the ability to multi-task are critical attributes for this role. Specific duties include welcoming patients, facilitating the intake process for new clients, managing incoming calls and referrals, scheduling patients, scanning/organizing documents, collecting payments, and supporting our providers and patients as needed.
Skills Necessary
- Display mastery of the English language, basic working knowledge of medical terminology, and maintain confidentiality in all clinical activities and communication
- Possess the natural ability to multi-task and pay attention to details, no matter how small
- Confidently, calmly, and accurately schedule patients, facilitate the intake process for new clients, and answer phone calls
- Understand customer management systems and the ability to navigate scheduling software
- Enter information with pinpoint accuracy and confidently confirm data when it is difficult to understand
- Greet patients politely and display exceptional interpersonal skills
- Excel in customer service, and more than that – show empathy, the natural desire to develop relationships, and the knack to explain complex processes with ease
- Possess a positive, professional, and team-centered attitude
- Pride yourself in excellent and ever-growing computer skills
- Maintain a clean and orderly clinic as part of a dedicated team

Qualifications
- Advanced English skills, including spoken and written communication and comprehension
- Minimum 1 year customer service experience
- Medical office experience is preferred, but not required
- Medical terminology is preferred
- Basic anatomy and physiology knowledge is preferred
- Pharmacy knowledge is preferred
- Bilingual is a plus
- Minimum High School Diploma/GED
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
