Position Summary:
The Warehouse Associate plays a crucial role in our operations by assisting in the movement of inventory through receiving, stocking, and ensuring the safe handling of products.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Assist in receiving and shipping inventory.
- Safely operate a forklift, hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
- Stock inventory accurately and securely in designated areas.
- Ensure inventory is stacked safely and efficiently to maximize space.
- Fulfill orders accurately by pulling correct items from shelves.
- Prepare and pack orders for shipment, ensuring they are accurate and timely.
- Remove wraps and outer packaging materials from incoming shipments.
- Break down and secure excess packaging materials for recycling or disposal.
- Safely stage inventory in designated areas for efficient handling.
- Participation in bi-annual inventory counts as required.
- Report any health or safety incidents to immediate supervisor promptly.
- Lift items weighing up to 50lbs unassisted and up to 300lbs with a dolly.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures outlined in the Company Handbook.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management to support warehouse operations.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated punctuality and strong time management skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks in a warehouse setting.
- Capacity to follow detailed instructions accurately.
- Comfortable working in varying temperatures typical of warehouse environments.
- Prior Forklift and Warehouse experience preferred.
