What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-time Home Hospital Teacher position at Morgan County Schools?
On an as-needed basis, the Part-Time Home Hospital Teacher will provide high-quality instruction to help home hospital students benchmark on classwork, collect assignments from teachers, deliver the projects to the student, maintain and provide to the classroom teachers the completed student work, and maintain a record of the home hospital student's attendance. The Part-time Home Hospital Teacher will visit the student(s) home or, if in a hospital setting, the hospital, a minimum of two (2) 60-minute visits per five days from the date of enrollment in the Home Hospital Program. The Part-time Home Hospital Teacher will give to the Director of Pupil Personnel all student attendance records and a standard invoice for time and mileage (if no Board-owned vehicle is available).
