Position Title: Special Education Classroom Teacher
Applicants who currently hold or are eligible to hold valid Georgia Teaching Certification in Special Education General Curriculum (P-12) and Special Education Adapted Curriculum (P-12) should apply for this applicant pool job posting.
Reports to: Building Principal/Director
Work Schedule: 190-Day Contract
Hours to Work: 8 hours
Primary Function: Provide instruction for students that enables them to learn and achieve to the maximum of their abilities.
Requirements:
- Educational Level: Bachelor's Degree or higher
- Certification/License Required: Valid Georgia Teaching Certification in Special Education General Curriculum (P-12) and Special Education Adapted Curriculum (P-12).
- Physical Activities: Routine physical activities that are required to fulfill job responsibilities
- Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: Written and Oral Communication; instructional strategies that connect the curriculum to the learners; student management
