Position Title: School Bus Driver
Reports to: Transportation Manager
Work Schedule: 180-Day
Hours to Work: 4 to 5 hours per day
QUALIFICATIONS:
The successful applicant must:
- be able to provide safe transportation for students;
- have or earn a Commercial Driver’s license (CDL) with Passenger and School bus endorsements;
- be reliable and punctual;
- pass pre-employment and random drug/alcohol testing;
- pass a DOT physical examination;
- undergo motor vehicle and criminal records background check; and
- have a great attitude!
POSITION OFFERS:
- training and assistance obtaining a Commercial Driver’s license (CDL) and/or needed endorsements;
- opportunity for advancement from substitute to full-time driver with assigned route;
- after assignment to a regular route, drivers are eligible for participation in health and retirement benefits; and
- summers off!
