About us
Full-time or part-time associate veterinarian wanted at rural, privately owned practice located about 30 miles from west Knoxville. We offer large animal medicine if interested but NOT required. We see primarily cats and dogs, with a mixture of wellness, surgical and medical cases. Do you like to see appointments more than surgery? Would you rather do more surgery and see less appointments? We are flexible depending on what you are comfortable doing.
We are seeking a veterinarian that will help us maintain our high standards of service while working with a variety of clientele. We strive to have a good relationship with our clients, so we schedule 30-minute appointments to give us ample time to communicate.
The ideal candidate is a natural hard worker who is deeply concerned with animal welfare and willing to support other veterinarians in delivering excellent care and treatment. We are also willing to provide mentorship to newer graduates.
We have a great team to support each other. Over 50% of our staff has been here for more than 5 years. We focus on drama free work environment with lots of laughs throughout our day.

Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent
- Proven veterinary experience with a focus on animal care and handling
- Strong knowledge of veterinary terminology, physiology, and anatomy
- Experience in veterinary critical care and laboratory procedures
- Proficiency in animal restraint techniques and aseptic practices
- Familiarity with medical record keeping and documentation
