**Responsibilities:**
- Develop a pricing policy that generates profits
- Set policy on special ordering of parts
- Establish individual parts inventory levels and balance them for maximum turnover
- Supervise stock order procedures
- Select, train, and supervise all employees in the parts department
- Conduct necessary employee training
- Develop an aggressive wholesale parts program to produce profits
- Analyze departmental operations and storage layout, revising as needed
- Establish paperwork flow and ensure parts creditors' dollar limits are maintained and current
- Assist in collection of past due accounts
- Develop sales promotions
- Analyze sales, gross expense, and inventory on a monthly basis to maintain profit goals
**Qualifications:**
- Previous Automotive Parts Management experience of 2-3 years required
- Import experience a plus
- Supervisory experience a must
- Self-starter and self-motivated
- Proven track record of success in a parts department
