Executive Assistant to Dr. Kari Morfeld (Full-Time, Local/Hybrid)
Morfeld Research & Conservation is seeking a highly organized, proactive Executive Assistant to support Dr. Kari Morfeld in managing a fast-paced wildlife reproduction and conservation business. This full-time role is approximately 80% professional executive support and 20% personal logistics that directly impact work effectiveness. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, discreet, tech-savvy, and comfortable coordinating complex schedules, travel, and projects across multiple companies. Local candidates are strongly preferred; the role will be a hybrid of on-site and remote work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Dr. Morfeld’s calendar, including client meetings, procedures, travel, conferences, and personal appointments that affect work, proactively resolving conflicts.
- Triage and manage email and other communications; draft professional responses and coordinate with clients, collaborators, and vendors.
- Track tasks and projects across multiple companies, ensuring deadlines, follow-ups, and priorities are clearly documented and completed.
- Coordinate travel logistics (flights, lodging, rental cars, itineraries) and prepare related documentation and schedules.
- Organize digital files, documents, contracts, and shared folders to keep information accessible and up to date.
- Assist with preparing presentations, proposals, and basic reports as needed.
- Support personal logistics tied to work demands (e.g., key appointments, deliveries, house, pet, and childcare arrangements during travel).
- Maintain strict confidentiality and serve as a professional, respectful representative of Dr. Morfeld and the organization.
Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
