Commercial Cleaning Team Lead – Cross-Trained Cleaning Lead

Morey’s House Cleaning Service LLC is hiring a dependable, detail-oriented Commercial Team Lead to join our growing team serving Southwest Michigan and Northwest Indiana. This position will primarily lead our commercial cleaning accounts. The selected candidate will also be cross-trained in our Residential and Vacation Rental divisions, allowing them to step into a leadership role across the company when needed. We are looking for someone who can take ownership of a job, maintain high cleaning standards, direct a team professionally, and make sure the property is completed correctly before leaving. This is a hands-on position. Our Team Leads clean alongside their team while also being responsible for organization, communication, quality control, and completion of the job.

• Lead and work alongside cleaning teams on commercial accounts Ensure company cleaning standards and checklists are followed Perform final quality-control inspections before leaving properties Assign and coordinate tasks among team members Identify and correct cleaning issues before a job is considered complete Communicate damages, maintenance concerns, supply needs, and client concerns to management Help train and support new employees Complete required job documentation and checklists Maintain professional communication and appearance at client properties Keep company supplies and equipment organized and properly cared for Cross-train to lead residential cleaning teams Cross-train to lead vacation rental/Airbnb turnovers Provide leadership or coverage in other divisions when needed

We are looking for someone who is: Dependable and punctual Detail-oriented Organized Comfortable taking responsibility for the quality of a team's work Able to work independently without constant supervision Comfortable directing and supporting other employees Able to communicate professionally with management, coworkers, and clients Comfortable working in different types of properties and environments Able to adapt when schedules or cleaning needs change Previous professional cleaning experience is strongly preferred. Previous leadership, supervisory, housekeeping, commercial cleaning, property management, or hospitality experience is a plus. Reliable transportation is required. Applicants must be comfortable traveling between cleaning locations throughout Southwest Michigan and Northwest Indiana.

$16.00–$20.00 per hour Starting pay is based on experience, demonstrated leadership ability, and training level. Paid training and cross-training are provided before independent leadership responsibilities are assigned.

Schedule varies based on client needs. Commercial cleaning may include daytime, evening, and weekend work. Cross-training may include daytime residential cleaning and vacation-rental turnovers. Applicants should have reasonable schedule flexibility and understand that weekly hours may vary based on client demand.
