MoreVisibility is seeking a passionate and experienced individual to drive strategic organic growth initiatives for our clients. This role centers on auditing websites, identifying search-driven growth opportunities, shaping AI-informed content strategies, and guiding clients through the changes required to improve business KPIs through increased organic visibility. Copywriting is part of the work (the execution of your strategy), but the primary value is analysis, strategic planning, and consultative leadership.
This position is 75% strategy / 25% content creation and is designed for someone who is energized by diagnosing problems, designing solutions, and influencing clients to take action.
This role will be responsible for analyzing the web presence of our clients, developing a vision and roadmap for improving the client's business KPIs using content, and then writing content and working with a designer where needed to bring that vision to life. You will be working on improving the client’s business KPIs through several growth channels, including organic search (SEO), generative AI, and social media. While you won’t be required to have technical SEO or website development expertise, a lot of the work will involve clients making changes to their website, so a passion for and an understanding of the fundamentals of search engines, generative AI, and websites work will be important.
You will collaborate closely with our SEO, Design, Analytics, and Account Management teams and report to our SVP of Digital Services.
Digital Content Strategist Key Responsibilities
· Lead comprehensive SEO & content audits of client websites, identifying structural, topical, and competitive gaps that hinder or could improve organic growth.
· Develop actionable, prioritized organic search growth roadmaps, focused on improving business KPIs using content, SEO fundamentals, and AI-search considerations.
· Assess and optimize clients’ visibility within both traditional search engines and generative AI answer engines, including content architecture, entity optimization, and brand authority signals.
· Own the strategic narrative by presenting findings, advocating for recommendations, and securing client buy-in through clear, confident communication.
· Guide content execution, including on-site optimization, IA recommendations, and collaboration with designers.
· Produce high-impact content as needed (service and product pages, resource articles, landing pages, UX copy) to support strategic initiatives.
· Monitor and interpret performance data (rankings, traffic, visibility, competitive shifts, AI-generated summaries) and translate insights into new strategic actions.
· Stay ahead of SEO and generative AI trends and proactively incorporate emerging best practices into client strategies.
· Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure recommendations are viable, aligned, and implemented accurately.
Digital Content Strategist Job Requirements
· Excellent writing skills (digital copy) required – samples will be requested.
· Demonstrated experience building and presenting SEO/GEO-driven content strategies, not just producing content.
· Strong understanding of organic search fundamentals
· Experience with or strong interest in generative AI’s impact on search visibility and how brands must adapt content to surface in AI-generated responses.
· Ability to analyze website performance data (GA, GSC, SEO tools) and turn findings into prioritized action.
· Excellent communication skills with the ability to persuade, educate, and guide clients on strategic decisions.
· Strong writing and editing skills (digital copy), demonstrating clarity, structure, and persuasive reasoning.
· Expert attention to detail.
· Understanding of website UX, content architecture, and the relationship between content, design, and conversion.
· Understanding of website fundamentals and general limitations.
· Ability to communicate internally to colleagues and externally to clients
· Quick learner and creative problem solver.

Preferably seeking a candidate based in Florida. Although our HQ location is in Boca Raton, FL it is not mandatory to work from the office, but it is available, so some
team members keep a hybrid schedule. Limited travel may be required.
