Responsibilities
- Review RFP/RFQ documents and develop complete, compliant proposal responses.
- Collaborate with engineers and subject matter experts to gather technical information and transform it into clear, persuasive content.
- Draft executive summaries, technical approaches, past performance sections, and other proposal content.
- Edit and proofread submissions for clarity, accuracy, and consistency.
- Manage timelines and deliverables to meet hard submission deadlines.
Qualifications
- Proven experience writing proposals for engineering, construction, or technical projects.
- Strong understanding of RFP/RFQ processes (government or private sector).
- Ability to translate technical input into client-focused, results-driven narratives.
- Excellent writing, editing, and organizational skills.
- Comfortable working independently on a contract basis — not seeking full-time employment.
- (Preferred) Familiarity with proposal tools such as Adobe, MS Office, SharePoint, or project management platforms.
