REGISTERED NURSE (Moreland OB-GYN)

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team! This is a 26 to 30-hour weekday position, working 8 to 10-hour shifts. Summary: Responsible for providing professional nursing care to OB/GYN patients in an ambulatory setting. This position supports our Waukesha clinic (two days a week), Oconomowoc clinic (one day a week) and remote satellite clinics as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assists physician/providers, as well as planning, organizing, and coordinating patient care and in-office procedures
• Executes duties as a triage nurse which includes emergent calls/situations, data collection and documentation
• Assists provider in preparing patient for exam, intake of health information, vitals, examinations, and various procedures as required
• Collaborates regarding plan of care and facilitating follow-up
• Provides appropriate teaching to patients and family as directed. Acts as patient advocate, assessing learning needs of patient.
• Oversees smooth progression of daily patient schedules, monitoring patient flow, and assists patients scheduling appointments as needed. Able to apply monitoring devices and interpret NST strips, assessing for non-reassuring patterns,
• Supervises all nursing functions and takes responsibility for mentoring duties performed by LPN or MA

Knowledge, Skills, and Other Abilities:

· Current valid RN degree/ license; ADN or BSN and CPR certification

· OB-GYN or L&D experience preferred.

· Must be knowledgeable of Electronic Medical Records. EPIC experience preferred.

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, telephone etiquette, and remaining calm in emergency situations.

· Ability to use critical thinking/ problem solving strategies, exceptional organization, and time management skills

· Above average skills in patient education and counseling

Pay: $27.00 - $34.00 per hour
