Registered Nurse (Oconomowoc)

Moreland is an OB-GYN. We are looking for an experienced RN for a newly created triage & clinic float position to support our Oconomowoc Clinic. This 4 day a week position has flexibility to work either 32 or 36 hours a week. Triage days are Mondays (8-6pm or 10-6pm) and Tuesdays (10am-6pm). Clinic float days are Wednesdays (8-6pm) and Fridays (8-4pm). OFF Thursdays. The primary clinic site would be in Oconomowoc, but flexibilty needed to support our Watertown and Mukwonago clinics as needed. No weekends, no holidays, and no on-call.

Two years’ experience as a nurse with one year of triage experience preferred. Woman’s health experience preferred. This position works on-site, not remote.

Summary: Responsible for providing professional nursing care to OB/GYN patients in an ambulatory setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Executes duties as a triage nurse which includes emergent calls/situations, data collection and documentation
• Assists physician/providers, as well as planning, organizing, and coordinating patient care and in-office procedures
• Collaborates regarding plan of care and facilitating follow-up
• Provides appropriate teaching to patients and family as directed. Acts as patient advocate, assessing learning needs of patient.
• If an RN, supervise all nursing functions and takes responsibility for mentoring duties performed by LPN or MA

Knowledge, Skills, and Other Abilities:

• Current WI valid nurse license; along with CPR certification
• Two years’ experience as a nurse and one year experience in triage preferred
• Woman’s health, OB-GYN or L&D experience preferred
• Must be knowledgeable of Electronic Medical Records. EPIC experience preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, telephone etiquette, and remaining calm in emergency situations.
• Ability to use critical thinking/ problem solving strategies, exceptional organization, and time management skills
• Above average skills in patient education and counseling
