Event Coordinator

The Student Center & Event Services at Morehead State University is accepting applications for a full-time position as an Event Coordinator. The anticipated start date is December 1, 2025.

Morehead State University is located in Morehead, KY, a designated Kentucky Trail Town, nestled in the Daniel Boone National Forest, in close proximity to Cave Run Lake. This location provides opportunities for a wide range of outdoor recreation activities. RESPONSIBILITIES: The Event Coordinator schedules and coordinates public and athletic events, seminars, conferences and services for campus and/or community organizations. Arrange various aspects of events such as confirming conference room reservations, technical requirements, parking, staffing or various other services.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge of scheduling, and contract administration. Knowledge of supervisory practices and principles. Skill in public relations and handling complaints. Skill in organization in order to coordinate several events simultaneously. Ability to effectively communicate.
