We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Residential Tile Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing high-quality tile surfaces in residential settings, ensuring precision, durability, and aesthetic appeal. This is a 1099, independent contractor position hiring in Saint Robert, Rolla, Osage Beach, Lebanon and surrounding areas.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by measuring, cutting, and laying out tiles according to project specifications and blueprints
- Install various types of tiles including ceramic, porcelain, stone, and glass in kitchens, bathrooms, and other residential areas
- Use hand tools and power tools such as tile cutters, grinders, drills, and trowels to execute precise installations
- Read schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accurate placement and alignment of tiles
- Apply caulking, grout, sealants, and other finishing materials to ensure a clean, professional look
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and tile-specific equipment such as tile cutters and grinders.
- Familiarity with cut sheet and blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction site procedures.
- Professional Standards: High attention to detail with a strong commitment to quality craftsmanship and exceptional customer service.
- Communication: Strong communication skills to coordinate seamlessly with both the home office team and end clients.
- Equipment: Must possess a comprehensive set of personal trade tools, reliable transportation, and equipment necessary to independently complete standard industry tasks.
- Insurance Compliance: Must maintain active general liability and workman's comp insurance. Prior to the commencement of any work, the contractor must provide a Certificate of Insurance (COI) naming our organization as a certificate holder.
- All individuals who will be on a job site must be able to pass a background check.
