Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Night Cleaner BJC to maintain the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall appearance of our facilities during overnight hours. Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of all designated areas including floors, restrooms, offices, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and scrubbers.
• Handle chemical agents safely while performing sanitation tasks, following all chemical handling safety procedures.
• Conduct heavy lifting and manual handling tasks to move furniture, supplies, or equipment as needed, always practicing safe lifting techniques.
• Maintain cleanliness of floors through buffing, polishing, and other floor care procedures to ensure a pristine appearance.
• Use commercial cleaning tools and equipment efficiently to complete daily cleaning routines with precision and care.
• Follow established safety protocols during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or injuries.
• Assist with minor facilities maintenance tasks or reporting issues that require professional repair or attention.

Skills

• Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles with a strong understanding of commercial cleaning standards.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, their proper handling, and safety procedures related to chemical agents.
• Familiarity with floor buffers, floor care techniques, and sanitation practices essential for maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to safe lifting practices and safety protocol adherence.
• Excellent customer service skills to interact professionally with staff and visitors when necessary.
• Experience with industrial cleaning or porter duties is advantageous, demonstrating versatility in various custodial environments.
• Strong attention to detail combined with the ability to work independently during night shifts efficiently.

Hours are 8pm to 1030 with 2 people and

8pm to 1 am with one person weekends are

8pm to 1030pm

Pay: $15.00 - $16.50 per hour
