What are the responsibilities and job description for the Restaurant Servers- Part-time position at Moravian Manor?
Moravian Manor Communities, located in the charming town of Lititz, PA, is a premier not-for-profit senior living community with a proud tradition of serving older adults for more than 50 years. We are currently seeking Part-time Servers to join our team at the Owl's Nest Restaurant on our beautiful Warwick Woodlands campus.
Available schedules include:
- Day Shift: 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
- Evening Shift: 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
- Monday through Friday; hours vary
- No weekends required!
We offer a competitive hourly wage. Unlike traditional restaurant positions, compensation is not tip-based therefore you'll have consistent income with no tips.

What will I do in the role of Server?
- Greeting residents and customers in a courteous and friendly manner.
- Accurately and quickly takes, enters, prepares, and delivers resident and customer orders according to standards.
- Dispenses appropriate levels of alcohol and prepares drinks appropriately if eligible to do so based on state guidelines
- Consistently checks residents and guests identification and monitors consumption of alcoholic beverages to ensure compliance with state and local liquor laws.
- Responsible for disposal of garbage, picking up trays, re-stocking barware, and clearing/wiping down tables and counters.
- Completes all required side work, and takes initiative to assist other associates as needed to meet resident and customer needs.
What do I need in the role of server?
- One year prior serving/customer service experience, preferred but not required.
- Flexibility to work every other holiday.
- Must have the language ability to meet resident and guests needs and complete required paperwork
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
This position requires all employees to vaccinated against influenza, unless a medical or religious exemption is approved.
