Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of craft cocktails, ensuring each drink meets quality standards and presentation expectations
- Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to recommend drinks, answer questions, and enhance their overall experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and workstations
- Manage POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling
- Monitor inventory levels of spirits, mixers, garnishes, and other bar supplies; restock as needed to ensure smooth service
- Follow all food safety protocols and responsible alcohol service guidelines to promote a safe environment
- Collaborate with team members during busy hours to ensure efficient service and uphold high standards of hospitality
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings; cocktail crafting expertise required
- Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; strong cash handling skills
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures in a food service environment
- Ability to perform basic math for cash transactions and retail math for inventory management
- Previous experience in catering or food industry settings preferred; retail math skills are a plus
- Must possess or be willing to obtain relevant certifications related to responsible alcohol service and food safety
