What You'll Do as an Electrical Technician
As an Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and supporting PLC-controlled manufacturing equipment throughout the facility. You'll play a critical role in ensuring production equipment operates safely and efficiently.
Electrical Technician Responsibilities Include:
· Troubleshoot PLC-controlled automated manufacturing equipment
· Identify and resolve electrical, controls, and automation issues
· Support production and maintenance teams with machine downtime and equipment repairs
· Troubleshoot and modify PLC and HMI programs as needed
· Assist with installation, startup, and commissioning of new equipment
· Support VFD setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance activities
· Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints
· Assist with continuous improvement projects to increase equipment reliability and efficiency
· Maintain accurate documentation related to controls and electrical systems
· Work closely with engineering, maintenance, and production personnel to resolve equipment issues

What We're Looking For
· Experience troubleshooting electrical and automated manufacturing equipment
· Familiarity with Allen-Bradley / Rockwell PLC platforms, including:
o RSLogix 5
o RSLogix 500
o RSLogix 5000
o Studio 5000
· Experience with FactoryTalk View HMI systems preferred
· Knowledge of VFDs, motor controls, and industrial electrical systems
· Understanding of Ladder Logic and electrical schematics
· Experience with DeviceNet and Ethernet/IP networks preferred
· Experience with robotics, automation equipment, or Mitsubishi PLCs is a plus
· AutoCAD experience is a plus
· Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
