Job Title: Production Technician
Pay Rate: $17/hr
Location: Whitestown, IN
About the Role:
We're hiring Production Operators to join our team in Whitestown, IN. In this role, you'll be responsible for hands-on production, regularly handling and assembling materials.
What You'll Do:
Maintain a safe and well-stocked production area
Complete daily tasks to meet production volume, quality standards, and schedules
Assemble and prepare products according to work instructions
Follow company policies and procedures
Collaborate with peers and supervisors in a team environment
Operate basic manufacturing equipment and support complex machinery when needed
Perform quality inspections to ensure products meet specifications
Work at different stations as directed by the supervisor
Verify materials issued for work orders and track production metrics
Provide feedback and updates to Leads or Supervisors
Maintain accurate paperwork and apply lessons from training
What We're Looking For:
Ability to lift approximately 25 lbs
Availability to work irregular and extended hours as needed
Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
Team player with effective communication skills (verbal & written)
Basic computer and math skills
High school diploma or GED required
Basic computer knowledge
1-2 years of manufacturing experience (medical device, pharmaceutical, or biotech industries preferred)
Experience in an FDA-regulated environment is a plus
