Role Description The Area Manager Retail Wine is a full-time, on-site role based in San Antonio, TX. This position is responsible for overseeing retail wine sales performance across an assigned territory, including managing key accounts, executing merchandising standards, and ensuring optimal product placement and visibility. The Area Manager will visit retail locations regularly to build relationships with store teams, implement promotional programs, monitor inventory levels, and identify opportunities to grow distribution and sales. Daily activities include analyzing sales data, preparing territory plans, coordinating with the sales team and suppliers, and providing clear communication on market trends and competitive activity. The role also involves training and supporting retail partners on product knowledge and brand standards, while maintaining compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Sales and Retail experience, with a track record of driving revenue and managing territory or multi-store accounts.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, including the ability to present, negotiate, and collaborate with internal teams and retail partners.
