Morada Senior Living is hiring Restorative Aide/CNA for Morada Temple.
Restorative Aide Essential Duties:
- Provide personal care to residents in a manner conducive to their safety and comfort. Assist in the provision of restorative or rehabilitative care.
- Performs restorative nursing tasks such as ambulation, range of motion, positioning, self-feeding, etc., within the scope of individuals’ training.
- Promotes and supports the greatest possible degree of independence for residents.
- Advises supervising charge nurse of resident’s status at beginning and end of shifts.
- Contributes knowledge of resident’s conditions/needs to resident care plans.
- Assists in the implementation of care plans as directed within the parameters of established policy and procedure.
- Observes and reports on resident’s conditions, and documents observations as required.
- Must be able to perform moderate to heavy lifting.
- Complies with requirements of procedures for safe lifting and/or safe transfer of residents per established policies and procedures.
- Assists in the care and maintenance of therapy area and equipment.
- Assures that equipment is clean and functional.
- Assist residents at mealtime as may be necessary.
Job Requirements
- State certification as a nursing assistant
- Complete familiarity with the duties of a certified nursing assistant
- Highly developed observation skills
