Long Term Substitute SPECIAL EDUCATION PARAPROFESSIONAL
Temporary: 10/19/2026 - 02/01/2027
7:45 a.m. - 3:15 p.m. 7 hours/day
Location: Mora High School
MHS Seeks motivated individual to fill the role of special education paraprofessionals in our DCD department. This is a team atmosphere that makes a difference in students' lives in meaningful ways. You will work with a range of ages and abilities under the direction of our licensed case managers.
Job Duties include: Working with our special education case managers and students in individual and group settings. Duties may include assisting with academic support, transitioning from class to class, lunch support, restroom support, and student drop off and pick up. This position works under the direction of the special education case managers and high school administration.
Qualifications: ParaPro, ParaEducator certification, OR (AA degree or 60 semester credits) required. Experience working in a school setting, and CPI/CPR training preferred. Must be self-directed, supportive, and collaborative to meet student and staff needs.
Salary: Per Education Minnesota ESP AFL-CIO Agreement Step 1 $16.22 per hour.
