Master Fabricator Gates & Fencing Government Contract Work (Temp-to-Permanent)
The Mor1's Company (Mor1's Construction Corp / Metal Solutions) is looking for an experienced master fabricator to build telescoping gates and fencing systems on an active government contract, with a second contract in progress and strong potential for this to become a permanent position.
What you'll be doing:
- Building telescoping gates, fencing, and related metal fabrication from layout through installation
- Running your own scope independently reading specs/plans, sequencing your own work, managing materials and timeline with minimal oversight
- Working alongside our crew and other trades, communicating clearly and flagging issues before they become problems
- Taking ownership of quality and fit on your work / this is precision fabrication for a public agency, not rough work
What we're looking for:
- True master-level fabrication skill / this isn't an entry-level or helper role
- Experience with gates, fencing, operable/mechanical metal systems
- Able to work independently and think like a project owner, not just execute tasks handed to you
- Comfortable as a W-2 employee (not 1099/subcontract)
- Reliable transportation
- Prior government contract or prevailing wage job experience a plus
Position type: Full-time, W-2, prevailing wage. Project-based to start, strong likelihood of converting to permanent for the right person.
Salary : $35 - $50
