Mor Mor's is hiring a Line Cook for our new independent restaurant in downtown Laguna Beach.
We are a new concept in a great downtown location, focused on fresh organic ingredients, scratch-made sauces, and thoughtfully prepared proteins. Our kitchen is small, bright, and full of natural light — the kind of space where every team member matters and strong communication makes service run smoothly.
We are looking for a confident, reliable cook who can take ownership of our salad station once trained and work well as part of a tight-knit team.
This position will focus on our salad station, but depending on staffing needs may be asked to participate in various roles. On-the-job training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Set up and maintain a clean, organized, fully stocked station
- Prepare menu items using fresh organic ingredients, scratch-made sauces, and prepared proteins
- Work assigned station during service
- Follow recipes, portion standards, plating guidelines, and food safety procedures
- Read tickets carefully and communicate clearly about timing, modifications, delays, and low product
- Work with urgency while maintaining quality, consistency, and presentation
- Support teammates and help keep service running smoothly
- Properly wrap, label, date, store, and rotate product using FIFO standards
- Clean, break down, and reset the station at the end of shift
Requirements
- Prior kitchen, prep, pizza, sandwich, or line cook experience preferred
- Friday / Saturday availability highly preferred (Recommended to have at least 3 'days' of evening availability)
- Must be dependable, organized, and able to work independently once trained
- Must be able to communicate with team members in English; fluency is not required
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed
- Must be comfortable working in a small, team-oriented kitchen
- Must be able to follow recipes, systems, and food safety standards
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

Pay: $17.50 - $19.00 per hour
