The Impact You’ll Make
- Build the Infrastructure: You’ll take point on real estate and land use, negotiating leases and charging agreements that form the physical backbone of the business.
- Fuel the Business: Beyond core commercial contracts and MSAs, you’ll help drive the legal strategy for our facility operations - negotiating construction and development matters that turn our real estate vision into physical reality.
- Bridge the Gaps: You’ll be the "connective tissue" for our Infrastructure team, and will collaborate with other teams at Moove as required to ensure legal strategy is perfectly synced with business reality.
- Direct the Experts: You’ll manage relationships with outside counsel, ensuring we get world-class results while keeping an eye on the bottom line.
- Juris Doctor & Bar Member: You hold a J.D. from an accredited school and are an active member in good standing with at least one U.S. State Bar.
- Experienced: You have 6-8 years of experience in a law firm or in-house environment, with significant experience in commercial real estate law, including a strong background in commercial leasing, land use, and construction matters, as well as corporate and commercial law.
- A Precise Negotiator: You have an "eagle eye" for detail but a "bridge-builder" mindset in negotiations.
- The Startup Athlete: You thrive in fast-paced environments, can juggle urgent priorities without dropping the ball, and are comfortable working autonomously.
- Tech-Curious (Bonus): If you have experience in the automotive or AV space, you’ll hit the ground running even faster.
- Global Perspective (Bonus): International (non-US) experience is a plus.
