Friday, Saturday, Sunday & Monday 9:45pm-6:15am w/occasional 11pm-7am shifts

Must pass a required background and Psychological Evaluation.

Campus Safety & Monitoring
- Monitor the Mooseheart campus to ensure a safe and secure environment.
- Conduct residence home and bed checks to confirm proper youth locations.
- Provide security and traffic control for on-campus events.
- Assist staff and residents as needed.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations according to departmental procedures.
- Investigate building alarms, determine the cause, and ensure facilities are secure.
- Report suspicious persons, vehicles, or incidents on campus.
- Document all incidents accurately and thoroughly.
- Report deviations in youth count to the appropriate Family Teacher.
- Maintain confidentiality and share information only on a need-to-know basis.
- Maintain assigned security vehicles in clean, safe operating condition and report any issues to the Chief of Security.
- Complete and maintain all required certifications (CPR, First Aid, Fire Extinguisher).
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Chief of Security or Executive Director of Operations.
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 21 years of age.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills when interacting with residents, staff, and visitors.
- Keen observational skills and ability to notice unusual or suspicious activity.
- Ability to act with professionalism, integrity, and sound judgment.
- Reliable work history and strong teamwork mindset.
- Valid Illinois driver's license with a clean driving record (no suspensions within the past 3 years).
