Role Objectives:

The Senior Manager, Sales – Target role is responsible for the day-to-day account management needs of Moose’s Target business. This role will influence virtually all pockets of the Moose-Target partnership, from direct sell-in to end-of-life inventory management. Primary responsibilities include maximizing sales volume and distribution opportunities, forecasting with an eye on maintaining a healthy yet opportunistic portfolio, and collaborating with cross-functional Moose teams to ensure company-wise commercial success.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum 7 years in a related role with Target or a Target supplier.
  • Fluent in Target’s reporting systems, most notably Greenfield.

Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate relationships with buyers, planners, and analysts to strengthen partnership and deliver long-term profitable sales results.
  • Strong negotiator – complete selling propositions before negotiating, effectively plan for selling and negotiating, negotiate/sell with a fact-based approach, execute comprehensive follow-ups.
  • Maximize insights and data – gather and interpret the most appropriate data, develop and implement specific action plans, and react to results.
  • Provide both quantitative and qualitative feedback regarding customer sales activity to improve the overall forecast accuracy of the company
  • Work with Moose Operations team to resolve import and domestic ordering issues related to transportation or supply
  • Take on weekly reporting and ad hoc sales and demand planning analysis
  • Be a self-starter, prone to informed action; be decisive and driven to propel the business forward.
  • Comfortable working in an ambiguous, ever-changing environment.
  • Exert strong internal influence to drive the business (product development, marketing, finance, operations) to profitably deliver what is needed for Target.

Work Hours

8:30am – 5:30pm, Monday to Thursday

8:30am – 3:00pm, Friday

30-minute unpaid lunch break each day.

Plus, reasonable additional hours due to multiple time-zones.

Salary Band

USD $125,000 - $150,000

Physical Demands

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone and other office productivity machinery, may need to reach, stoop, kneel to access items
  • Must be able to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work
  • Light to moderate lifting is required
  • Frequently communicates with other employees and third-parties, must be able to speak clearly and exchange accurate information.
  • Regular, predictable attendance is required

Position Title:

Manager, Replenishment and Planning – Target

Role Objectives:

The Manager, Replenishment and Planning - Target role is responsible for the day-to-day inventory and forecasting needs of Moose’s Target account. Primary responsibilities include accurate forecasting, proactive chasing/cancelling, and timely PO adjustments, all with an eye on sustaining a healthy, opportunistic business between Moose and Target. Role will also demand frequent collaboration within the other Moose departments (Marketing, Supply Chain/Logistics, Analytics Teams, Retail Sales Organization).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years in a related role with Target or a Target supplier.
  • Fluent in Target’s reporting systems, most notably Greenfield.

Responsibilities:

  • Maximizes insights and data – gathers, manages, and interprets the most appropriate data, sets objectives for business development, develops specific action plans for account plan implementation, measure/monitors/optimizes programs, and results.
  • Provides both quantitative and qualitative feedback regarding customer sales activity to improve the overall forecast accuracy of the company
  • Responsible for working with retailer to ensure its forecasts are accurate and closely aligned to Moose forecast projections
  • Responsible for working with Moose ops team to resolve import and domestic ordering issues related to transportation or supply
  • Perform ad hoc sales and demand planning analysis
  • Provide sales analytics expertise and insights to the wider Moose Toys sales team
  • Assist in all other functional areas to develop business opportunities and provide actionable insights to the retailer
