Role Overview:
Our client is seeking a seasoned ERP Oracle Database Administrator for a hybrid contract role based in Richmond, VA. This position requires hands-on experience supporting Oracle EBS and related technologies, and the candidate must be available for occasional off-hours support. Candidates must be local to Richmond or within a 50-70 mile radius.
Qualifications:
- Proven expertise with Oracle EBS 12.2.12 administration
- Strong skills in Oracle Linux 8 and Korn Shell Scripting
- Experience with Oracle Cloud and Oracle Enterprise Manager
- Familiarity with containerization and editioning practices
- Ability to support both production and development environments
- Availability for post-business hours support as needed
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain Oracle EBS applications and databases
- Apply patches and ensure system security compliance
- Provide support for both production and development systems
- Collaborate across teams and offer after-hours assistance when required
