Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide knowledgeable assistance on store products and promotions
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently to process retail sales transactions accurately
- Handle cash register operations, including cash handling, cash drawer balancing, and receipts issuance
- Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits, enhancing customer engagement and sales opportunities
- Upsell related products or services to maximize sales and improve customer satisfaction
- Stock shelves, organize merchandise, and ensure the sales floor is clean and inviting
- Maintain excellent phone etiquette when assisting customers via phone or online inquiries
- Assist with merchandising efforts to highlight featured products and optimize store presentation
- Support supervising staff during busy periods or when needed to ensure smooth store operations
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering preferred; supervisory experience is a plus
- Proficiency with POS systems and cash register operations
- Strong communication skills with the ability to provide clear product information and excellent customer service
- Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs effectively
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions, making change, and balancing registers accurately
- Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, merchandising, and stock management practices
- Ability to perform retail math calculations quickly and accurately for sales totals and discounts

- Demonstrated ability to upsell products confidently while maintaining a positive attitude
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and evenings as needed
