Key Responsibilities
- Maintenance and repair of complex mechanical, electrical equipment, generators, dehumidifiers, and diesel systems on a variety of rental equipment and tools while using a high degree of independent judgment.
- Maintenance on the Mooring USA fleet, Trucks, Vans, Trailers. Oil Changes, registrations, Inspections.
- Must be able to travel at a moment's notice for weeks at a time.
- When required, travel to customer job sites for repair/maintenance of rental or customer owned equipment; must maintain service vehicles in a clean and professional manner.
- Setup electrical distribution and monitor on location until the emergency job is completed.
- Assist in the training of lower-level technicians as needed.
- Maintain paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed (work orders) FULLBAY Program in a complete and timely manner daily.
- Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment & parts.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools
- Knowledge of construction equipment with an understanding of schematics and electrical diagrams
- Must own tools applicable to position; Mooring USA will assist with high-priced tools (e.g., Electrical Meters)
- Superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills
- Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs and greater than 45 lbs occasionally
- Ability to travel on short notice for extended periods of time
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
