Position Summary:
We are looking for motivated Laborers/Groundmen to support land clearing and construction projects. This role is essential in assisting equipment operators, maintaining safe job sites, and performing hands-on work such as debris removal, site prep, and general labor tasks. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-focused, and willing to work in outdoor environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist equipment operators and crews with daily site operations.
- Perform manual labor tasks such as clearing debris, setting up job sites, and preparing materials.
- Maintain safe work zones by spotting for equipment and directing traffic when needed.
- Use hand tools, chainsaws, and small equipment as directed.
- Follow all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and environmental guidelines.
- Report hazards, unsafe conditions, or equipment issues promptly to supervisors.
- Support land clearing and construction crews with additional tasks as required.
Qualifications:
- Prior construction or land clearing experience preferred but not required (will train).
- Ability to safely use hand tools and small equipment.
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather and terrain conditions.
- Strong work ethic and ability to follow directions.
- Ability to travel to job sites (per diem provided where applicable).
- Valid driver’s license (preferred).
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 75 lbs. regularly.
- Comfortable working on foot for long hours in rugged terrain.
- Ability to bend, stoop, and perform physically demanding tasks.
