POSITION TITLE: Janitorial/Indoor Maintenance
REPORTS TO: Tribal Administrator
SUPERVISES: None
SCHEDULE: Regular Full-Time
SALARY: $16.90 Hourly
CLOSED DATE: 3/30/2026
POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Tribal Administrator. Responsible for general janitorial duties of The Community Center and other areas. Indoor maintenance will maintain a schedule for inside the facility and the surrounding grounds. Will maintain and coordinate necessary repairs of the facility. Responsible for the storage and disposal of all materials.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Responsible for keeping the Tribal Community Center and other areas clean and sanitized.
· Schedule daily, weekly, monthly, and semi-annual cleaning and maintenance schedule.
· Determine and information supervisor of equipment maintenance needs.
· Ensure materials and solutions for cleaning are kept in stock.
· Keep exterior area free of weeds and debris at all times.
· Clean and stock Log Cabin weekly.
· Schedule deep cleaning of food storage and cooking equipment to insure compliance with food safety standards.
· Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
2. Must be at least 18 years of age.
3. Two years of Janitorial experience preferred.
4. Preference will be given to Native Americans (25 USC Sec. 472A).
5. Must have a valid California Driver’s License and be insurable on Mooretown Rancheria’s automobile policy.
6. Must successfully pass a pre-employment background investigation, live scan/fingerprinting (DOJ/FBI) and pre-employment drug screening.
