About the Role:
We’re hiring compassionate RN nurses to provide one-on-one home care for a 23-year-old patient with complex medical needs. This is a long-term, stable position with consistent hours, a supportive family, and the chance to build a meaningful nurse–patient relationship.
✅ What You’ll Do
- Provide daily tracheostomy care & suctioning (incl. emergency airway management)
- Administer medications via G-tube
- Perform DDAVP (vasopressin) subcutaneous injections (2x daily)
- Run nebulizer treatments (Albuterol)
- Monitor sodium balance (i-STAT/CHEM8 ) & chart fluid intake/output
- Maintain skin integrity (barrier creams, regular checks)
- Assist with safe transfers/lifts (~105 lbs)
- Support ADLs: dressing, hygiene, oral care, skincare
- Encourage activities: music, reading, light exercises, community outings
- Complete accurate charting & communication with care team

- Primary shift: 2:30 PM – 9:30 PM (daily)
- Additional evening/weekend coverage available if desired
🎓 Must-Have Qualifications
- Active California RN or LVN license
- Hands-on experience with trach & G-tube care
- Strong charting/documentation skills
- Ability to safely transfer/lift up to ~105 lbs
- Compassionate, loving attitude, patient, family-centered approach
🌟 Preferred Experience
- DDAVP injections, seizure management, fluid balance protocols
- Pediatric/young adult complex care
- Comfort with feeding pumps, i-STAT analyzer, pulse oximetry
- CPR/BLS certification
