Role Description This is a part-time, on-site Athletic Trainer role based in Greensboro, NC. The Athletic Trainer will provide daily injury evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation services to employees in an industrial or workplace environment. Responsibilities include implementing injury prevention programs, conducting ergonomic assessments, and offering education on safe work practices, wellness, and proper body mechanics. The role involves collaborating with site leaders and employees to track injury trends, document care, and support return-to-work and modified duty plans. The Athletic Trainer will also contribute to wellness initiatives that improve employee morale, productivity, and overall health.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated proficiency in Athletic Training, including assessment, acute care, and ongoing management of musculoskeletal conditions.
- Strong skills in Injury Prevention and Prevention-focused program design, including ergonomic assessments and safety education.
- Experience or training in Rehabilitation and Strength & Conditioning to support safe and effective return-to-work and performance programs.
- Current certification as an Athletic Trainer (ATC) and eligibility for or possession of state licensure in North Carolina.
- Ability to work independently on-site, build rapport with diverse employee groups, and communicate clearly with all levels of staff.
- Experience in industrial, occupational, or corporate wellness settings is preferred.
- Basic competency with documentation, electronic records, and reporting of injury trends and outcomes.
- CPR/AED and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain prior to start date.
