Position Summary:
The Dental Hygiene Assistant supports our dental hygienists and ensures a smooth, efficient flow of hygiene appointments. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and passionate about patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Assist dental hygienists during cleanings and procedures
- Prepare and disinfect treatment rooms before and after each patient
- Sterilize and organize dental instruments and equipment
- Take and process dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Update patient records and ensure accurate documentation
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
- Maintain inventory of hygiene supplies and materials
- Ensure compliance with infection control and OSHA regulations
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous dental assisting or clinical experience preferred
- Current X-ray Certification
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and equipment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Strong attention to detail and patient-centered attitude

Monday-Thursday 7:30 A.M.-4:30 P.M.
