Duties
- Prepare exterior surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and repairing as needed to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
- Apply primer, paint, stain, and sealants using hand tools such as brushes, rollers, sprayers (including airless paint spraying), and power tools.
- Perform caulking and sealing around windows, doors, and joints to prevent water intrusion and improve finish quality.
- Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols during construction site experience involving scaffolding, ladders, or elevated work platforms.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in residential and commercial exterior painting with a strong understanding of construction site procedures.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools (including airless sprayers), scaffolding, ladders, and other equipment safely and effectively..
- Experience with surface preparation techniques such as sanding, scraping, plastering, caulking, and masonry repairs.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent craftsmanship in restoration or renovation projects.
- Good physical stamina for working outdoors in various weather conditions; willingness to work at heights safely.
