Position Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Purchaser to join our growing Purchasing Department. This role plays a critical part in supporting daily operations, managing vendor relationships, coordinating materials, and ensuring smooth communication between departments.
As a Purchaser, your responsibilities will continue to evolve alongside the department and company growth. In addition to purchasing responsibilities, this role will also assist with administrative support, customer communication, and coordination efforts within the office.
This is an in-office position. Remote or hybrid work is not available.
Key Responsibilities
Purchasing & Vendor Coordination
- Issue and reconcile purchase orders
- Work closely with vendors to ensure accurate receipt and delivery dates
- Coordinate delivery of materials to support field operations
- Develop and maintain processes for tracking lead times and material deliveries
- Forecast material deliveries through the end of the month
- Process material returns as needed
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships
- Negotiate pricing with vendors to achieve the best value possible
- Resolve supplier and delivery issues efficiently
- Assist with continuous improvement efforts within the purchasing team and cross-functional departments
- Work closely with internal departments to resolve invoice discrepancies
- Support customer service and incoming call management
- Assist with technician communication and dispatch scheduling
- Prepare and distribute work orders
- Support office communication and document management
- Assist with accounts receivable support and bill entry
- Provide general administrative assistance to colleagues and office staff
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Strong ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Experience with purchasing, vendor coordination, or inventory management preferred
